One of the most important steps of IVM is public outreach. This involves educating and engaging the community on ways they can best protect themselves from mosquito bites and prevent mosquito breeding.
Remember: you are your own first line of defense against mosquitos!
Public outreach can be achieved through a variety of methods including social media, educational brochures, paid advertisements, youth presentations, and attendance at community events.
If you are interested in learning about ways you can protect yourself and your home, please view our "Ways to Protect Yourself" page.
